“A Little Preachin’….a Lotta Praisin’ ” is a blessed ministry to the elderly here at Johnson Christian Village. Jim uses God’s word and uplifting songs to lift the spirits and point the way back to Christ. By using many songs that elderly folks grew up singing, they feel even more inspired and even join in with the worship. We love to have him come because he always brings Jesus with him.

Jim Holly’s program “Little Preachin’…Lotta Praisin’ is a must have for any community. Jim shares his stories of growing up in the faith and the influences that have impacted his life. His stories helped to unlock memories for our residents here at Sunrise. After the program residents shared stories of their faith lead life for hours after. Jim is a true professional singer. From his set up to tear down, Jim is a professional. His song selection touched all of our residents. Each song reached residents of various cognitive states. The songs took residents from a restful state and awoke them to alert,toe-tapping and singing. Jim Holly is a delight and his program is moving. Our residents are already asking when he can perform again.
